We are delighted to announce that the Leverhulme Trust has awarded funding to the University of Oxford through a Research Project Grant to support experiments and analysis central to realising MUMIP.
The funding will support a total of 6.5 years of postdoctoral research, with a postdoctoral research fellow working at each of the University of Oxford, the University of Exeter, and at Meteo France. These research fellows will produce simulations with the IFS, Met UM and ARPEGE-Climate single column models respectively, and will also develop novel analysis tools to understand random, systematic and parametric uncertainties in atmospheric models.
